Dallas Social Venture Partners (DSVP) is holding it’s third annual bigBANG! event on Friday, October 19th, at Union Station. We’ve arranged for recipients of North Texas Nonprofit Resources’ blog to receive a 20% discount for tickets for this event. These are all words that evoke the energy and excitement around this year's bigBANG! event, a forum hosted by Dallas Social Venture Partners. We will be convening the thinkers and doers of our city for a day-long opportunity to catalyze positive impact.

In its 3rdyear, bigBANG! is a one-day forum that brings together business leaders, educators, non-profits leaders, entrepreneurs, decision-makers and innovators to learn from each other and to join together to
- Tackle the social issues challenging the Dallas community
- Learn what is happening to improve our community
- Discover Who is doing What & How it is working
- Engage in being part of the solution to social challenges
bigBANG! presents content along four tracks. The social issues addressed cover a broad range – education, poverty, literacy, homelessness, hunger- and represent concerns and opportunities for attendees to invest their time, money, social network or expertise. Participants choose to follow a single track or blend sessions from any of the four. Presentations and experiences are a mix of 20, 40 and 60 minute blocks in the following areas:
- The City: Urbanization & Economic Justice
- The Education Imperative
- Health & Wellness
- Social Entrepreneurship
