Murray Covens Principal

Murray Covens has been very involved in the nonprofit community for more than 25 years.  He is a partner with Dallas Social Venture Partners, and has served on the board of directors for several local nonprofit organizations.  Before founding North Texas Nonprofit Resources, he had over 25 years of financial and business management experience with both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, with more than 10 years of experience with nonprofit organizations in management and development.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Houston and a Master of Business Administration, and was formerly a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Management Accountant.

 

Sherri Barrett Associate

Sherri Barrett had over 20 years of grant writing and other development experience with some of Dallas' leading nonprofit organizations before joining North Texas Nonprofit Resources in 2008.   She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Baylor University.

Jami Russell Associate

Jami Russell had 15 years of experience with nonprofit organizations and development before joining North Texas Nonprofit Resources in 2008, including four years as Executive Director with responsibilities that included grant writing and development.   She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from The University of Texas at Dallas.

 

JENNIFER MORRISON Associate

Jennifer Morrison has strong government grant writing experience, including program development, grant research, proposal development, and grant reporting.  She has spearheaded the receipt of several million dollars in government grants.  Jennifer brings a wealth of grant writing and nonprofit management experience to North Texas Nonprofit Resources.  She was with a domestic violence agency in Dallas County for 14 years before joining North Texas Nonprofit Resouces in 2012, including 10 years as Executive Director.  Previously she was Director of a Sexual Assault Recovery Program for six years.  Jennifer holds Bachelor of Business Administration and Master of Education degrees, and is both a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor.

marti royer Associate

Marti Royer had more than 20 years of experience with nonprofit organizations before joining North Texas Nonprofit Resources in 2013.  She was most recently Executive Director of a family foundation for five years, and was active with the Conference of Southwest Foundations for several years.  Prior to that she worked in development for several years with organizations such as Boys & Girls Clubs and Girls, Inc.  She has served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations, including United Cerebral Palsy of Dallas and Center for Computer Assistance to the Disabled.  She is currently a partner with Dallas Social Venture Partners.  She holds a Master of Science in Social Work, Administration, and Planning from University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from University of Texas Austin.

TIFFANY BEAUDINE Associate

 

Tiffany Beaudine joined North Texas Nonprofit Resources in 2014 after 14 years with Rainbow Days, including the last several years as Director of Development.  She has extensive experience in communications, fundraising, writing, public speaking, event planning, public relations, and volunteer management, and has been active in Girl Scouts and other community organizations.  Tiffany holds a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from Dallas Theological Seminary,and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Texas A&M University.
